- A 22 year-old female, presented with abdominal pain, vomiting and
shocked.
She had a history of abdominal colics and vomiting for which she had
undergone investigation including upper endoscopy with no response to
the treatments given.(see photos)
- Our examination revealed :
hypotension, oral pigmentation, hypovolemia
- Urgent investigations revealed:
k 6.86

pCO2 31.8
ph 7.22

Answer:
IT was a state of Addisonian crisis that occurred as a complication of
undiagnosed Addison's disease.
After life-saving treatment, the
patient had a happy smile in this cinematic shot !!
