Case 1
A 7o years old farmer (history of bilharzial exposure) came to my clinic
asking for my advice as a Gastroenterologist for his distressing chronic
diarrhea he suffered years ago that was refractory to all medical trials
of treatment. Detailed history revealed continuous intake of some
medications for involuntary movements he suffered from years ago, as
advised by a neurologist.
Summary of examination:
-blood pressure : 160/80
-infrequent extrasystoles.
-fine tremors.
-hepatosplenomegaly.
Now what is the possible diagnosis? How can you manage?
