Case 20
Thirty-four years guy, diabetic on insulin, since 3 years he complained
from severe penile burning, from then he went into dilemma of many
urological consultations, investigations and treatments, paid off what
he had had, lost his interest and his ability to work throughout these
years, had undergone many cystescopies (3 times), I.V.P., pressure flow
studies, many urine cultures, many studies for T.B. bacilli detection
etc.
The results of all these consultations and investigations proved
nothing, but he was worse than ever, in a desperate resort his last
urologist advised him to go to an internist for more adjustment of the
blood sugar perhaps there was a relationship of diabetes to his problem.
So he headed to us with a broken heart and lost hope. Our detailed
history revealed that he was under extreme pressure because of his
condition which has no cure plus financial related pressures, so he
usually weeps his young girls if he left in this life, also revealed
that the burning is restricted to the urethra, so that it is
meticulously to say " he is complaining from severe urethral burning".
Lastly he also used to suffer from erectile dysfunction.
Examination:
Revealed nothing apart from overweight and glove and stokes
hypoesthesia.
