Case 30
He attended to our clinic because of mild hyper-bilirubinemia (2.6
mg/dl) that form an obstacle in completion of the surgery which was
decided for treatment of his bothersome snoring.
He is 47
years old, cigarette smoker, his snoring problem had intensified in the
last months, so he asked for ENT consultations in two different clinics
and both advised him by surgery, his pre-operative assessment revealed
hyper-bilirubinemia (mentioned before) for which he sought advice with
no change, so he came frustrated requesting the help in resolving the
stumbling block to do the surgery as soon as possible especially that he
cannot forget that he is liable to sleep sudden death as he was informed
by one of the surgery advisors.
Examination:
- Obese
- Mild hepatomegaly
