Answer 15

What is the possible diagnosis?

Discussions conducted by internal medicine residents:

Dr. Ali said:

".....a case of gastric polyps or gastric cancer."

-I hope I can transmit a good picture of the actual situation in the answer.

A.Hamdi and M.Hamza argued:

"......gastric cancer postulated by many do not fit in this case taking age and risk factors into consideration. We can consider it just as a severe form of gastritis which may really result in hematemesis."

Adding to the last answer:

This is a case of "H.pylori induced nodular gastritis" as proved by histopathological examination of biopsies taken during endoscopy.
So we put the patient on the triple therapy for H.pylori eradication with a great expectancy for disappearance of these findings.
